Built to own the whole programme.
One delivery standard, two jurisdictions
EHS consulting, waste science and cartage operations under one roof
Supervision, testing and cartage run by the same accountable crew
- We exist because classification and disposal kept being treated as separate jobs. Helia EHS runs them as one programme, with one team accountable for the outcome.
From site supervisors to programme owners
Helia EHS grew out of fieldwork, not a boardroom. Every stage below reflects a real gap we ran into on-site — and built a discipline to close.

Principles that don't flex per job
These aren’t values on a wall. They’re the reasons a Helia programme looks the same whether it’s a plant shutdown in Queensland or a demolition site in Auckland.
Segregation happens before testing, not after
Blending material first and testing later hides contamination. We hold stockpiles separate from the moment they're created so every test result means something.
A classification is never just asserted
Every result is backed by a lab report or field screening data an auditor can trace back to a specific stockpile, not a verbal call made on-site.
One team runs supervision, testing and cartage
We don't hand a programme off between subcontractors mid-stream. The people who classify the material are accountable for where it ends up.
Same standard, both sides of the Tasman
A programme delivered in New Zealand meets the same internal bar as one delivered in Australia — the regulatory framework changes, our discipline doesn't.
What we're accountable to, and where we work
Delivered under
- Australian State EPA waste classification and licensing frameworks
- New Zealand waste and resource-management legislation
- Licensed receiving facilities only — no informal disposal arrangements
- Chain-of-custody documentation retained for every load, every programme
