A few things clients usually ask before their first call.
How quickly can a programme start?
It depends on scale and site access, but most shutdown or changeover programmes can mobilise within one to two weeks of scope confirmation. Time-critical works can move faster — tell us your window and we’ll say plainly whether it’s achievable.
Do you work with sites that already have a waste contractor?
Yes. We’re often brought in specifically for high-tonnage or high-contamination streams that an existing contractor isn’t set up to classify and route in-house, and we work alongside other site contractors during a campaign.
What information do you need to quote a programme?
Material type and source, an estimated tonnage or stockpile size, site location, and your timing window. Photos or an existing waste classification report help, but aren’t required to start the conversation.
Can Helia EHS manage a programme across both Australia and New Zealand?
Yes — we deliver under Australian State EPA frameworks and New Zealand waste-management law, with the same internal methodology applied on both sides of the Tasman.
